It was announced that the fireworks ban in Beijing will be banned from January 1, 2022. Fireworks display projects permitted by the public security organs in the Universal Studios Resort area are excepted in December 14th. During the Spring Festival in 2022, Beijing will no longer set up fireworks retail outlets.
In addition, according to the regulations of Beijing Municipality on the safety management of fireworks and firecrackers, if the state and the city need to set off fireworks and firecrackers in the forbidden area during celebrations and other festivals, it shall be decided and announced by the Municipal People's government.
