On May 20th, it was learned from the Office of the Preparatory Committee of the Roots-seeking Festival that the opening ceremony of the roots-seeking festival in the hometown of Yandi, a Chinese native of the world, and the ceremony of paying a visit to Yandi Shennong Town,will be held on May 26th (the 26th April of lunar month) This year's root-seeking festival is mainly held in the form of online ancestor worship, and only a small number of provincial guests are invited to attend. 

The theme of the Roots-Seeking Festival in the Year of the Rennian is "One family from all over the world, sharing the Chinese dream", which is jointly sponsored by the Taiwan Province Affairs Office of the State Council, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Chinese Yanhuang Culture Research Association and the Hubei Provincial People's Government. At the opening ceremony, the ceremony of paying homage to Emperor Yandi Shennong adhered to the principle of "safety, thrift, innovation and high efficiency", and made great efforts to echo the theme of the times, focus on cultural identity and highlight emotional resonance. Focusing on welcoming the 12th provincial party congress and the 20th party congress, it integrated traditional and modern elements to show new changes and achievements in Jingchu.
