Long-term use of floating oil seals

Equipment running in abrasive media such as dust, sand, mud, rock or soil has extremely high requirements on the wear resistance of the sealing system. The circumferential speed must be controlled within 2 m/s.

Whether the machine is running or not, the floating seal must always be lubricated to prevent cold welds.
The friction loss must be minimized.
The adjustment force in the sealing system must match the wear rate of the seal contact surface.
Must guarantee static and dynamic tightness.
The heat generated by friction at the contact surface must be carried away by the lubricating oil through sufficient flow.
The pressure difference between the inside and outside of the floating seal must be balanced.
