Because the floating seal is a compact mechanical seal developed to adapt to the harsh working environment, it has the advantages of strong anti-pollution ability, wear resistance, impact resistance, reliable work, automatic compensation of end face wear, simple structure, etc. It is widely used in construction machinery products.

In the natural environment, the erosion of ozone will cause premature aging of the seals. Therefore, the seals need to be isolated from the ozone during the storage process, and the rubber seals should be protected from exposure to circulating air. This can be accomplished by packaging, entanglement, storage in an airtight container, or other suitable method. Ozone is harmful to many elastomers, floating  seal prices, and the following equipment should be avoided in storage rooms: steam lamps, high-voltage electrical equipment, electric motors, equipment that produces sparks or static electricity.

Light, UV is recommended to use opaque boxes or bags, motor floating oil seals, rubber or plastic seals are stored or packaged, and the windows of the room where the seals are stored are covered with red or orange, motor oil seals, so that the seals are protected from sunlight. Strong light, ultraviolet light and fluorescent light are directly irradiated.

Dust may affect the mechanical properties of the product and is also essential for the protection of dust particles.
