1. The larger the shrinkage of the floating seal ring, the better the sealing effect. In fact, too much shrinkage of the floating seal ring can cause rapid wear of the friction pair and instant burn; excessive shrinkage causes the floating seal ring to lose its ability to adjust the end face of the moving ring, causing the seal to fail.


2. The tighter the floating seal, the better. In fact, too tight a floating seal ring is harmful and useless. One is to increase the wear between the seal ring and the shaft sleeve, and to leak prematurely; the second is to increase the resistance of the axial adjustment and movement of the moving ring, which cannot be adjusted on time when the working conditions change frequently; the third is that the floating seal ring is excessively fatigued and easy Damage; Fourth, the floating sealing ring is deformed, which affects the sealing effect.


3. The new one is better than the old one. Relatively speaking, the use of a new floating seal ring is better than the old one, but when the quality or material of the floating seal ring is not selected properly, the large error of the cooperation scale will affect the sealing effect; in the polymerizable and permeable medium, the static ring If there is no excessive wear, it is better not to replace it. Because the static ring stays in a stopped state for a long time in the static ring seat, the polymer and impurities are deposited as a whole, which has a better sealing effect.
