The maximum linear velocity of the floating oil seal is generally required for the floating seal ring of bearing steel not to exceed 1m/s, and for the casted floating seal ring not to exceed 3m/s, and varies with the material of the floating seal ring. This is a control method to ensure the cooling state of the floating oil seal.
Through maintenance means to maintain the cooling state of the floating oil seal, the lubricating oil obviously cannot be ignored. The lubricating oil not only provides lubrication for the sealing surface of the floating seal ring, but also plays a role in cooling the floating seal ring.
